Chelsea Football Club have released their travelling squad for the pre-season tour ahead of the 2026/27 season.
With newly appointed manager, Xabi Alonso, in control, Chelsea make the trip to the other side of the world to start a four-country tour to Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia.
An announcement from the Blues confirmed that, twenty-nine (29) players will be travelling for the tour.
New signing, Dutch forward, Emmanuel Emegha, who joined the Premier League club from Strasbourg, will not be travelling with the team due to a hamstring injury he picked up while fielding for the Blues in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Bromley.
Also, Geovany Quenda, another new signing from Sporting CP, suffered a minor injury and will not be with the team on the tour as he had to stay back at Cobham to recover.
The players making the trip are due to land in Sydney, Australia on Saturday and an opening training session will take place on Sunday at Allianz Stadium.
Chelsea will then play their first match against Western Sydney on Tuesday, July 28.
Alonso will turn guide the Blues in games against Tottenham on Saturday 1 August, Juventus (Wednesday, August 5), AC Milan on Saturday 8 August and Johor Darul Ta’zim on Sunday 9 August before returning to the United Kingdom (UK).
Chelsea’s first game of the Premier League 2026/27 will be against Fulham on Monday 24 August, 2026.
