Ric Flair, American retired professional wrestler, is reportedly recovering at a hospital in Florida State after he fell outside a Tampa restaurant yesterday, Friday 23 October, 2026.
The sad incident happened just hours after the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Legend announced, he has cancelled a Seattle appearance due to a blood clot in his leg.
Flair took to X to express his gratitude for the “prayers”, saying, he will respond to everyone “individually” as he gathers strength.
He also thanked all Staff and doctors of the Tampa General Hospital for “everything” they did for him.
Ric Flair posted: “Thank You All For The Messages And Prayers! I Will Get Back To You Each Individually As I Get Stronger. Thank You To All The Tampa General Hospital Staff And Doctors That Put Up With Me Until 4:30am.
“I Appreciate You All And Thank You For Everything You Did For Me!”
The former Wrestler, whose wrestling career lasted five (5) decades, made known, he is now focused on his “healing and recovery”, and assured, he will be “okay”.
Flair, the first two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee, posted: “Am Focused On My Healing And Recovery Right Now. I Will Be Okay!”
Hia daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr, popularly known by her ring name, Charlotte Flair, posted on X: “Not my dad telling the doctor he fell bc of warrior dropping him on his head…(ps: he’s going to be ok)”
