Women’s Super League Club, Chelsea FC Women, have announced the signing of English right winger, Nelly Las, from Leicester City on a four-year deal.
Nelly, who also fields as right wing back, is an England Under-20 international and possesses WSL experience through playing for Leicester City’s first team over the last two seasons.
In 2016, Nelly joined the Leicester City Academy and made her senior debut for the Foxes in 2024.
Earlier in 2024, she was named in the Under-17 European Championship Team of the Tournament as England finished runners-up, and also played for the Young Lionesses at the U-17 World Cup in late 2024.
According to the Club’s official website, the winger described signing for Chelsea as a “dream come true”.
She signed her first professional contract in 2025 with Leicester City and spent the remainder of the 2025/26 season playing for Ipswich Town on loan in WSL 2.
In her post-signing comments, Nelly Las said: “It feels absolutely amazing. It’s something you dream of since you start football, to sign for a team like Chelsea and to reach a level like this. To be signing for Chelsea, I’m speechless.
“I’m really excited to run out at Stamford Bridge as a Chelsea player. I’ve had a look around the stadium and it is unreal. I can’t wait to meet all the fans and get the season underway.
“It is a dream come true to sign for Chelsea. I have been watching this team achieve success growing up, and to be here and signing for this club now, I have no words.”
