Netanyahu to meet Trump for the ‘eighth’ time to ‘safeguard’ the security of Israel

Benjamin Netanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel, has made known, he is “heading out” to meet with Donald Trump, President of the United States (US) with the aim to “safeguard” the security of Israel.

It will be the “eighth” time the Israeli PM is meeting with his “friend” since he took over the White House on his second term; describing his meeting with the US Leader as a “great responsibility”.

He disclosed, during his meeting with Trump, they will converse on “all the issues on the table” with the hostility with Iran at the “forefront”.

Taking to X, he clarified on his “goals”, which are to “strengthen” Israel’s power, and to bolster “peace” around the country.

On Monday, Netanyahu announced: “I am heading out now to a meeting with our friend, President Donald Trump—this is our eighth meeting since he was elected to his second term, more than with any other international leader. This is a great honor, and it is also a great responsibility.”

He disclosed: “In our meeting, we will discuss all the issues on the table, with Iran at the forefront. Our goal is clear: to safeguard Israel’s security, strengthen its power, and expand the circle of peace around us.”

Netanyahu, who is Israel’s current longest-serving PM, said, he is making the move with “deep commitment” to make sure the future of the State of Israel is “secure”. He will also pay his last respects to American lawyer and politician, Lindsay Graham, a “true friend” of Israel.

The Senator passed on 11 July, 2026 at the age of seventy-one (71) after a brief illness shortly after returning from a diplomatic visit to Ukraine.

Netanyahu said: “I am embarking on this mission out of a deep commitment to ensure the security, strength, and future of the State of Israel.

“During the visit, I will also pay my last respects to a true friend of mine and of the State of Israel, Senator Lindsey Graham—one of Israel’s greatest friends of all time.”
