The Spanish La Liga reigining Kings came from two goals down to discomfit the English Premier League club by five goals to two in England.
Nunez and Salah scored in the 4th and 14th minutes respectively for Liverpool, however, Real Madrid fought back to level and grab a stunning victory with Vinicius Junior being extremely helpful in the Los Blancos away win.
Vinicius netted a brace for Ancelotti’s side in the 21st and 36th minutes, Militao made it three in the 47th minute.
French sharpshooter, Karim Benzema, scored the fourth and fifth goals in the 55th and 67th minutes to hand the visitors the huge edge.
Los Blancos manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has praised his Brazilian playmaker, Vinicius, following his brace at Anfield.
In his post-match comments, Ancelotti said, “Right now, Vinícius Júnior is the most decisive player anywhere in the world.”
