Thanks to a 69th minute penalty scored by Ciro Immobile, the Italian side shockingly humbled their German visitors.

The Bavarians, despite fielding a star-studded attack featuring English forward, Harry Kane, were unable to respond in a disappointing display.

Pressure has started mounting on Bayern head coach, Thomas Tuchel, as this defeat is the second in five days.

Bayern under Tuchel’s guide lost woefully to Bundesliga 2023/24 toppers, Bayer Leverkusen, by three goals to nothing last weekend.

On the other side, Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) defeated Real Sociedad 2-0 at Parc des Princes.
