Wandera said: “Just like in #Liberia, at least for now in #Senegal’s presidential election, we are yet to see reports of ballot snatching and stuffing, multiple voting, overvoting, multiple incidents of thuggery and intimidation of voters, polling officials, observers, and journalists as well as plumes of teargas in the polling centres as witnessed in some notorious countries on the continent.
“For so long we have been accustomed to electoral malfeasance that includes deliberate disenfranchisement of eligible voters, alteration of results, polling day financial and in-kind inducements to voters and turning polling centres into war zones.
“It is possible to have clean, free and fair, credible and verifiable presidential elections in Africa. #SenegalVote.”
HC: “Ballot snatching and intimidation of voters”, he should have named one “notorious” country in Africa. *smile*
