Palm Beach International Airport renamed after President Trump

The Palm Beach International Airport in Florida State has been renamed after President of the United States (US), Donald Trump.

On Tuesday 5 May, 2026, Palm Beach County Commissioners approved a trademark deal which allowed the renaming of the Airport to the President’s.

In a 4-3 vote following a quarrelsome debafe, the Commission gave the approval. The move also gave a go-ahead to a new logo for the airport with Trump’s name and an image resembling the presidential seal.

American businessman and son to the President, Eric Trump, posted the logo on X, congratulating his dad for the “incredible honor”.

Eric Trump said: “For the first time, I am extremely proud to share the OFFICIAL logo for the Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida. There is no person more deserving of this incredible honor than @realDonaldTrump! Congratulations Dad!

“Looking forward to seeing flights landing at “DJT” very very soon!”

Ron DeSantis, Governor of Florida, signed legislation in March, which required the rebranding of the Airport in honor of President Trump.

Following that, was the official name change of a 4-mile stretch of Southern Boulevard in Palm Beach County as President Donald J. Trump Boulevard in January.

The new logo for the Airport which was recommended by the Trump Organization features an eagle holding two olive branches. It also has a crest shield over the bird’s body with stars and stripes.

The logo is completely gold.
