At the final internment of the Late COAS, President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima were in attendance.
Also, top security officials alongside notable government personalities attended the event.
Reno Omokri said, when Buhari’s COAS, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru died, “neither Buhari nor Osinbajo attended his funeral”.
He continued, “but today, President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima are attending the burial of their Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja”, saying, “this is commendable”, and that the President “truly cares”.
According to Reno Omokri: “When General Buhari’s Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru, was buried after dying in a plane crash, neither Buhari nor Osinbajo attended his funeral, which took place at the National Cemetery, less than 20 miles from Aso Rock.
But today, President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima are attending the burial of their Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja.
This is commendable and a sign to the Nigerian military that they have a Commander-in-Chief who truly cares for them, prioritises their welfare, and puts their interests ahead of his, unlike in the past.

May God grant the family of Taoreed Lagbaja fortitude to bear their loss, and may God bless Nigeria.”
