Rangers International FC emerged Champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) 2025/26 after accumulating sixty-eight (68) points, with Rivers United finishing second with sixty-seven (67) points.
The feat was the Flying Antelopes’ 9th NPFL title.
Rangers International expressed appreciation on X to the “amazing” people of Enugu State, as well as, fans all over the world for the “love and support” during the parade.
The Club wrote: “A big thank you to the amazing people of Enugu and our fans all over the world for the love, support, and energy during yesterday’s Trophy Parade.
“Your passion and unwavering belief made the celebration even more special. This triumph belongs to all of us.”
In his reaction via X to the Flying Antelopes’ victory in the NPFL 2025/26, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, Executive Governor of Enugu State, announced land gift for each player, as well as, ₦150 million cash reward for the team and management of the Club.
Mbah said: “What a season. What a team. They brought the trophy home again in style.
“As a token of that appreciation, I announced a plot of land in Enugu for each player, a cash reward of ₦100 million for the team, ₦50 million for the management, and additional plots of land for the General Manager, secretary, coach, and assistant coach. They have earned it, every bit of it.
“This is what pride in Enugu looks like.”
