Reno Omokri has reacted after CBEX scammed Nigerians of trillions of Naira.
He said, “even if CBEX and MMM rebrand and return to Nigeria, many Nigerians will still invest in Ponzi schemes.”
Omokri wrote: “Why is anyone surprised that many Nigerians lost trillions to CBEX? Same country where millions of people believe that Ibrahim Traore has transformed Burkina Faso to a paradise, and is building free houses for Burkinabe citizens, has eliminated taxes and paid off Burkina Faso’s debt just because of unverified claims they see on social media?
“The same place where millions believed that their President had died and was cloned then ultimately replaced with a Sudanese named Jubril? A nation that believed Naira Marley killed MohBad, even when he was not even in the country when that young talent died? Almost destroying an innocent person’s career. That is how we were gaslighted that Jonathan was bad and Buhari was good, and we eventually jumped from frying pan into a fire that we still have not recovered from as a nation.
“Even if CBEX and MMM rebrand and return to Nigeria, many Nigerians will still invest in Ponzi schemes and insult people like me who warn them of the pitfalls of these get-rich-quick scams.”
