David Adedeji Adeleke, Afrobeats singer, professionally known as, Davido, has reacted after Adegboyega Oyetola, former Governor of Osun State, announced, he welcomed high-ranking members of governing All Progressives Congress (APC) to Osun State ahead of the Governorship Election.
Oyetola, who currently serves as Nigeria’s Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, received his fellow Party members for the APC Governorship Campaign Mega Rally which will take place at Freedom Park in the Osun Capital, Osogbo, at 11:00 AM.
In his reaction, Davido said, it does not matter who the former Osun Governor welcomes to the ‘Land Of Virtue’, the Party will fall for the “3rd time”.
The ‘Feel’ singer’s uncle and current Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, had earlier reacted after “Police signal in Osun directing immediate arrest of Accord Party Leaders“, saying, the move “presents Nigeria as a lawless country”.
In his reaction on X, Davido said: “If you like gather Jesus 12 disciples o ma LULE for the 3rd time !!!!!”
The singer had earlier called the attention of Donald Trump, President of the United States (US), to the Osun State Governorship Election, saying, “we do not want bloodshed“, adding, the people of State deserve “free and fair” election come Saturday 15 August, 2026.
