Kamala Harris of the Democratic Party has come out to blame Donald Trump, President of the United States (US), for the “sky-high” prices of diesel and gas in America.
She said, the US President’s war in Iran is the reason Americans are buying gas and diesel at very high prices.
The 49th Vice President of the United States (US) made the statement in reaction to a post on X by The Associated Press.
According to the AP, Trump opined that, Ukraine needs a “new” President as he blamed President Volodymyr Zelenskky for the high prices of diesel in America.
The Independent Global News Organization posted: “Trump says Ukraine should get a new president as he blames Zelenskyy for U.S. diesel prices.”
Kamala Harris quoted the post by the AP and commented: “Donald Trump and his war in Iran are to blame for our nation’s sky-high diesel and gas prices.
“His latest ploy—buying fuel from his friend Vladimir Putin—reeks of weakness and will help pay for Russia’s war but will do nothing to make life more affordable for American families.
“The American people deserve a leader who cares about them, and the Ukrainian people deserve allies who will stand by their side in the fight for a free, democratic, and independent nation.”
Earlier, Trump had blamed Ukraine for the high prices of gas in the US following strikes on Russia’s refineries; he added, not the war in Iran.
