Bukola Saraki, 13th President of the Nigerian Senate, has described Arsenal’s 3-0 stunning win over Real Madrid in the Uefa Champions League quarter final first leg on Tuesday 8 April, 2025 at Emriates Stadium as “an indescribable feeling”.

Mikel Arteta guided Arsenal to a 3-0 victory over Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid with English defensive midfielder, Declan Rice, netting a brace in the 58th and 70th minutes, both goals from the free-kick spot.

Mikel Merino made it three (3) in the 75th minute to give the Gunners a huge advantage going into the second leg of the tie at Santiago Bernabeu, Madrid, Spain on Wednesday 16 April, 2025 at 20:00 (WAT).

Saraki wrote: “Tonight at the Emirates Stadium was special—an indescribable feeling!”

The encounter was the first between both sides since 2006.
