Dutch defender, Tyrell Malacia, will leave Premier League giants, Manchester United, at the expiration of his contract in the summer.
Malacia warmed the bench when Manchester United defeated Nottingham Forest 3-2 on Sunday at Old Trafford. It was United’s last home game of the 2025/26 season.
In July, 2022, the Dutch defender moved to Old Trafford from Eredivisie side, Feyenoord, and has made forty-nine (49) first team appearance in total for the Reds.
The 26-year old a part of last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, and, has featured twice this season both in the showdowns against Newcastle United as a late substitute in the home and away games against the Magpies.
According to the Club’s official website, in his address to fans on the pitch following Manchester United’s 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest on Sunday, Coach Michael Carrick said: “There’s Tyrell, who I spoke to the boys about before kick-off.
“He’s been through a tough time due to injuries. I encourage you to show him your support.”
Manchester United finished the Premier League 2025/26 on the third spot after the home win against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
