Portuguese midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has equalled Premier League record for assists in one season as Manchester United emerged winner in the five-goal entertaining top flight encounter against Nottingham Forest on Sunday 17 May, 2026 right inside the Old Trafford.
The cross from the Portugal International from the right flank was converted by Cameroonian forward, Bryan Mbeumo; the assist helped Fernandes level with Arsenal Legend, Thierry Henry, and Manchester City Legend, Kevin De Bruyne, on twenty (20) assists, with one (1) game remaining in the season.
