An X user (@ObedientDentist) has hailed “Captain of the Super Eagles”, Ahmed Musa, as he is yet to feature for Nigeria in the ongoing 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON).

The X user described Musa’s attitude despite being the “captain” and yet to feature in any match for the Super Eagles as “patriotism”, saying, “he is not offended, always gingering and supporting his teammates”.
Nigeria has reached the semi finals of the AFCON 2023 and will slug it our with South Africa for a spot in the final on Wednesday 7 February, 2024 at 18:00 (WAT).
X user (@ObedientDentist) said: “”Ahmed Musa” is the super eagle Captin and he has been benched all through the tournament, no single minute played yet. Still, he is not offended, always gingering and supporting his teammates. That’s patriotism. I know a player who would have vexed and walked out of the field.”
