Bayern Munich top Uefa 10-year rankings

Bayern Munich are now at the top spot of the Uefa ten-year club coefficient rankings.

Jan Christian Dreesen, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bayern Munich, told, Bayern Munich official website, these rankings are “no historical coincidence”, but, “further proof of the strength of this club”.

This is coming following Bayern Munich’s outstanding 4-3 comeback victory over Real Madrid in the Uefa Champions League 2025/26 quarter final second leg on Wednesday 15 April, 2026 in Munich.

With 280,000 points, Bayern Munich have taken over the top spot in the Uefa ten-year club coefficient rankings. The reigning Kings of Germany replaced Real Madrid, who amassed 271,500 points, followed by Manchester City with 250,500 points, Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) and FC Barcelona with 239,500 and 235,250 points respectively.

Dreesen said: “FC Bayern stands for sustainable sporting performance and, with its clear identity and general orientation, for stability in a time of extremes, in which international football is characterised by investors in many places.”

The 10-year rankings are based on the Uefa coefficient points, which are awarded for every feature in the Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League, as well as, bonus points for progressing to the knockout stages through to the final.

These points are accumulated every season and totalled over the whole period.

Dreesen further said: “We will continue to consistently pursue this path of autonomy and independence.”

Bayern Munich will face PSG in the semi finals of the tournament. The Les Parisiens dumped out Liverpool with a 4-0 aggregate victory.
