Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the 2023 presidential election, has described the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, as a “good man”.

The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate visited Owerri, the Imo State capital, for campaign of his 2023 presidential bid.
The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, had earlier given the thumbs up for free access to any political party with the intention to make use of any state-owned facility for their campaign.
Obi happily showered praises on Hope Uzodinma as they “exchanged pleasantries” when he met the Governor at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri, on his campaign tour.
As released on the Imo State Government official Twitter account: “Governor Hope Uzodinma @Hope_Uzodinma1 and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party @PeterObi, who is in Imo State for his campaign rally, exchanged pleasantries, as both arrived simultaneously at the Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri
“This is another expression of the Governor’s brotherliness and comradeship with everyone, irrespective of political affiliation and societal ideology.
“Recall that on Sunday, His Excellency Governor Hope Uzodinma reiterated his openess to providing a level playing ground for all political parties to sell their ideologies to the people, for their independent and unbiased choice.”
According to NAN:
“Your Excellency, I had to stay back to greet you because I learnt you were already on the way coming. You are a good man and I owe you that honour to wait to greet you. I really appreciate,” Obi said.
