Omoyele Sowore, African Action Congress (AAC) Presidential candidate, has announced his plans for Education in Nigeria ahead of the 2027 Nigeria General Elections.
The Human Rights Activist made known, his Education Policy will ensure no child pays NECO, WAEC or any other public examination fee, saying, “education will be free”.
He also said, Education will be free because it is “not a privilege” but a “right”.
Sowore said: “No government under a #Sowore2027 administration will ever ask your child to pay WAEC, NECO, or any other public examination fee. Education will be free because knowledge is a right, not a privilege.”
His Education Policy, which he described as “revolutionary”, will ensure “free, high-quality” education at all levels; also, there will be “modern classrooms and well-paid teachers”.
The pro-democracy campaigner also announced, his administration will guarantee that students receive grants, and there will be “equal” opportunities for every Nigerian child.
Sowore said: “Our revolutionary education policy guarantees free, high-quality education from early childhood through university, backed by modern classrooms, virtual learning, well-paid teachers, student grants, and equal opportunities for every Nigerian child.”
He said, his Education Policy is a “revolutionary commitment”, and not a “promise of politics”.
“This is not a promise of politics. It is a revolutionary commitment to build a nation where no child’s future is determined by poverty”, the AAC Founder said.
