2023 Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has said, “only God can determine outcome” of the 2023 general elections which was conducted today, Saturday 25 February, 2023.

The former Governor of Anambra State exercised his civil right alongside his wife as he cast his vote in polling unit 19 in the Agulu community of Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State, Southeastern region of Nigeria.
In a chat with journalists, after casting his vote on Saturday, Obi said: “The outcome can only be determined by God, whatever God says I accept it. It is God that makes it possible for everybody; it is God that will listen and look at the yearnings of Nigerians, especially the poor people who are suffering because Nigerians have suffered enough and I believe God will hear their cry.”
Talking about casting his vote in Agulu, Peter Obi said: “My dear wife and I have now cast our votes for a New Nigeria at 11:42am in Agulu. It was a smooth process in my polling unit. However, I have received reports of delays in delivery of voting materials nationwide.
“I hope the situation improves to allow the process to go on smoothly in all the polling units across the country.”
