The programme is designed to strengthen a segment of the population of Osun State with special needs.
Supporting all categories of citizenry is the responsibility of the government, Governor Adeleke says.
While distributing the support materials to the people with disabilities, Governor Adeleke said: “we were at the distribution of support materials to people with special needs. This programme is designed to strengthen a segment of our population with special needs. Government has a responsibility to support all categories of citizenry.
“Our administration will review the legal framework as it affects the people with disabilities within Osun State. I have directed the Ministry of Justice to come up with a legal framework that will protect the rights of Persons With Disabilities.”
