German Bundesliga Kings, Bayern Munich, has disclosed, Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane, will be missing in action for the Bavarians when they lock horns with 1899 Hoffenheim this weekend.
Sadio Mane has been left out of Thomas Tuche’s squad for the Bundesliga match between Bayern Munich and 1899 Hoffenheim “due to his misconduct after Bayern’s Champions League match at Manchester City”.
Following the loss at Manchester, Mane had an altercation with teammate, Leroy Sane, in the dressing room where he punched the German in the face.
The fight started on the pitch of play following Mane’s introduction in the 83rd minute.
The Senegal international will also be fined.
Manchester City cruised past Bayern Munich 3-0 in the Uefa Champions League Quarter final first leg at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday 11 April, 2023.
According to Bayern Munich:
Sadio Mané, 31, will not be included in the FC Bayern squad for this Saturday’s home match against 1899 Hoffenheim. This is due to his misconduct after Bayern’s Champions League match at Manchester City. Mané will also be given a fine.
