Bashir Ahmad, Special Assistant on Digital Communication to President Muhammadu Buhari, has revealed, “the Nigeria Air will take off on or before 29 May”.

According to Ahmad, this update was made known by Sen. Hadi Sirika, Minister of Aviation.
Ahmad further revealed, “final approval by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO)” is expected before commencement of operations as “infrastructure and staffers are ready”.
Ahmad revealed: “The Nigeria Air will take off on or before 29 May, the infrastructure and staffers are ready, now awaiting the final approval by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Minister of Aviation, Sen. Hadi Sirika disclosed today, at the State House in Abuja.”
