Nigeria has been drawn in Group A of the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2023 alongside Cote D’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.

The AFCON 2023 Group stage draw took place at the recently-built Parc Des Expositions venue, Abidjan on Thursday 12 October, 2023.
The Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2023, the 34th edition of the biennial African association football tournament organized by Confederation of African Football (CAF), will be hosted by Cote D’Ivoire.
This is the second time Cote D’Ivoire is hosting the tournament, having first hosted it in 1984.
The tournament consists of twenty-four (24) teams, drawn into six (6) Groups, and will run from 13 January to 11 February, 2024.
Six (6) Stadiums will host the AFCON 2023. They are:
- Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan (60,000 capacity)
- Stade de Paix in Bouaké (40,000 capacity)
- Houphouët-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan (50,000 capacity)
- Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro (20,000 capacity)
- Laurent Pokou Stadium in San Pedro (20,000 capacity)
- Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Korhogo (20,000 capacity)
- Group A: Cote D’Ivoire (Hosts), Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau
- Group B: Egypt, Ghana, Cape Verde, Mozambique
- Group C: Senegal (Defending Champions), Cameroon, Guinea, That Gambia
- Group D: Algeria, Burkina-Faso, Mauritania, Angola
- Group E: Tunisia, Mali, South Africa, Namibia
- Group F: Morocco, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Zambia, Tanzania
