Lagos State: ‘Railway tracks are not a market place to display and sell wares’ – Governor Sanwo-Olu warns

Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has come out to warn Lagosians to steer clear of railways tracks, saying, they are “not a market place to display and sell wares”.

He issued the warning while inspecting the progress of work at the stations along the Red Line Rail which he said will soon be commissioned.

Governor Sanwo-Olu said: “Today, I inspected the progress of work at the stations along the Red Line Rail in anticipation of the commissioning. 


“It’s crucial to emphasize that the railway tracks are designated for transportation and not for commercial activities or as a market space.


“The railway tracks are NOT a market place for you to display and sell your wares.”
