Jamaica Athletics Invitational 2024: ‘We are proud of her exceptional talent and skill’ – Governor Abiodun

Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has congratulated Tobi Amusan following her victory at the 100m hurdles event at the Jamaica Athletics Invitational 2024.

The Nigerian hurdler finished at a world-leading time of 12.40s ahead of home favorite, Danielle Williams, who ran at 12.46s, and United States’ Christina Clemens third at 12.53s.

The Governor said, “We are proud of her exceptional talent and skill”, adding, “Amusan is a worthy ambassador and priceless export from our dear State”.
