She said, the work of fighting against “gun violence” continues, saying, “we’re not resting on our laurels”.
According to Governor Hochul: “We’re seeing real results from our work to drive down gun violence — shootings are down 28% in areas participating in our GIVE initiative.
But we’re not resting on our laurels.
Our budget doubles funding for GIVE, and doubles down on our commitment to protecting New Yorkers.”
