Governor Mohammed distribute official vehicles to Emirs in Katsina

Bala Mohammed, Executive Governor of Bauchi State, made known, he has distributed official vehicles to Emirs and District Heads all over the State.

He said, the move was made as part of his administration’s intentional effort to “strengthen grassroots governance and deepen community engagement”.

The vehicles were presented at the Government House to “fourteen” (14) newly appointed emirs and over a hundred district heads.

Mohammed clarified via X, the move is “aimed at enhancing their mobility, expanding their reach, and enabling them to carry out their responsibilities more effectively within their respective domains.”

The Governor expressed his commitment to “extending this support across both long-established and newly created emirates, chiefdoms, and districts” with the aim to ensure that governance in the Northeastern State “remains inclusive and aligned with our broader development agenda”.

He accentuated the “critical” importance of intimate collaboration with the State’s traditional institutions to bring about “peace, stability, and prosperity”.

The Governor disclosed, he distributed “fourteen GMC saloon cars, Toyota buses, Hilux vehicles, and over a hundred Toyota Camry cars allocated to district heads”.

He urged all traditional ruler in the State to remain “non-partisan, uphold the highest standards of integrity, and stay dedicated to their duties.”
