Daniel Bwala has blasted an interviewer he described as a “clout chaser”, saying, he is “not worthy to interview the President”.
He said, what the interviewer does is to “antagonize and blackmail” the very people he so badly wants to interview just to “get their attention”, adding, everything about this particular interviewer has to do with “hate and fake news”.
Via X, the Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Policy Communications claimed the interviewer is “pursuing the cause of Peter Obi”, the Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 Elections.
Bwala posted: “He will antagonize, criticize and blackmail the very people he is dying to interview, just so he can get their attention. That is his mojo.
“The entire architecture of his endeavors rest around, hate, vitriol, fake news and blackmail.
“He is hiding behind the set whilst pursuing the cause of Peter Obi . As the chances of his principal peter Obi diminishes by the day, he gets increasingly frustrated and fights anyone in sight including his fellow anchors.”
He said, colleagues of the interviewer,.”Dr Abati and Ojy”, are “ahead of you” because they have “emotional intelligence” needed to tackle “serious issues”.
Bwala said, by the standard of “your station”, the only person this interviewer is qualified to interview is Obi, adding, the combination with the former Governor of Anambra State is “content creation”.
He posted: “Clout chaser. You are not worthy to interview the President . Dr Abati and Ojy are not only ahead of you but they are also your seniors and they possess the emotional intelligence required to handle serious issues.
“The only person you are qualified to interview even by your station’s standard is Peter Obi because with you and him it’s all part of content creation.”
The Special Adviser continued, the interviewer is “only useful” to the station due to the “controversy your nuisance value generate”; he said, when “serious people” are to be engaged, “they don’t send you”.
Bwala further posted: “If you are smart, you would have known by now that you are only useful to the station because of the controversy your nuisance value generate; (ditto, your interview with your principal peter Obi)
“when the same principals of the station want to engage with serious people , they don’t send you. they send serious people with knowledge and emotional intelligence.”
