Egypt international, Mohamed Salah, will part ways with Premier League giants, Liverpool, at the end of the 2025/26 season.
Salah and Liverpool reached an agreement that will see the forward exit Anfield after a whopping nine (9) years with the Club.
According to Liverpool official website: “Salah expressed his wish to make this announcement to the supporters at the earliest possible opportunity to provide transparency about his future due to his respect and gratitude for them.”
Salah put pen to paper for the Reds from Italian Serie A club, AS Roma, in the summer of 2017; he has successfully established himself as one of the greatest players in the history of Liverpool.
The Egyptian helped Liverpool to two (2) Premier League titles, the Uefa Champions League, FIFIA Club World Cup, Uefa Super Cup, two (2) League Cups, FA Cup and an FA Community Shield.
So far, after 435 appearances for the Reds, Salah has scored 255 goals, emerging the third on the list of Liverpool’s all-time goalscorers.
At Liverpool, Salah carted the Premier League Golden Boot four (4) times alongside other personal honours.
The player still has a lot to play for the remainder of the campaign, and he is staunchly focused on achieving more to finish the season with the reigning Kings of England.
Salah will be officially celebrated for his achievements at Anfield at the conclusion of the season when he bids farewell to the Club.
