Manchester United Portuguese head coach, Ruben Amorim, is on the shortlist for the Premier League Manager Of The Month following a perfect October for the Reds.
The former Sporting CP manager guided Manchester United to nine (9) points in October winning all three top flight encounters against Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton.
Those outcomes have pushed United up of the League table.
Manchester United made the announcement ahead of the Club’s trip to the City Ground for the Premier League 2025/26 clash against Nottingham Forest.
The match ended 2-2; the visitors took the lead through Brazilian midfielder, Casemiro, in the 34th minute. A move that forced the homes side to respond with two goals.
Morgan Gibbs-White levelled for the Tricky Trees in the 48th minutes, and Italian defender, Nicolọ̀ Savona put Nottingham Forest ahead in the 50th minute.
United fought back and found the equalizer through Ivorian winger, Amad Diallo, late in the 81st minute, to hand the away side a point from the showdown.
Man United’s victories over Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton mean United were one of three top-flight clubs to record a 100 per cent record in October, alongside Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Other managers nominated for the accolade include: Unai Emery of Aston Villa, Mikel Arteta of Arsenal and Andoni Iraola of Bournemouth, whose side triumphed in two and were unbeaten across the month.
