Real Madrid extend condolences after death toll in Texas flooding exceed 100

Spanish football outfit, Real Madrid, has extended its condolences to the families and loves ones of all the victims of the tragic flooding in Texas, United States (US).

The Los Blancos “transmits its support and solidarity” with the whole Texas population who are currently batting with the “terrible effects” of the “devastating floods”

The death toll has risen above 100 across six (6) counties in Texas. Officials reported, in Kerr County, 84 deaths — those of 56 adults and 28 children.

Four (4) days out from the ravaging flood, the chance of finding survivors grows thinner, however, rescue workers have not stopped to comb the region, searching for survivors.

In the Central region of Texas, more rain is expected, and a flash flooding risk remains in the area.

Real Madrid posted on X: “Real Madrid C.F. transmits its support and solidarity with the entire population of Texas, who are currently suffering the terrible effects of devastating floods.

“Our condolences to the families and loved ones of all the victims of this immense tragedy.”

The summer camp, Camp Mystic, at the center of the devastating flooding that has hit the Texas Hill Country over the last three days, is “grieving the loss of 27 campers and counselors.”

Air crews of Coast Guard hoisted people from flooded RV rooftops to help them out of the fast-rising floodwaters in Kerrville.

At least ninety-five (95) people have died as search efforts intensify following catastrophic flooding in central Texas.
