Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) French attacking midfielder, Desire Doue, clinched the Most Valuable Player award after inspiring the Kings of France to a fine 2-0 victory over German side, Bayern Munich, in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 quarter final match on Saturday 5 July, 2025.
Vincent Kompany’s Bavarians will now shift focus to the 2025/26 season, however, with an injured Jamal Musiala, who was unable to finish the clash at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
Musiala picked up a suspected broken ankle after a clash with Les Parisiens goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Doue opened the scoring and Ousmane Dembele sealed it up for the French side.
Following Musiala’s injury, PSG wrote on X: “Paris Saint-Germain extends its sincerest wishes for a swift and full recovery to Jamal Musiala.”

In its tribute to Diogo Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, who were laid to rest on Saturday 5 July, 2025, PSG wrote on X after Dembele’s goal: “A special goal, a special tribute to Diogo.”
Jota, who fielded for Liverpool, alongside his brother, Andre Silva, who played for RB Leipzig, died in a car crash ok Thursday in Spain.
HC: This looks like PSG’s time just like it happened to Manchester City. This trophy might go to Paris?
