Manchester United will kick off its pre-season campaign on Saturday 19 July, when the Reds field against rivals Leeds United in Stockholm, Sweden’s capital.
The Peacocks are looking ahead to a Premier League return, having topped the Championship 2024/25 table.
Leeds United will be featuring in the Premier League for the first time since 2023, when they were relegated after three seasons back in the big time.
The fixture will mark the commencement of Portuguese manager, Ruben Amorim’s first full season in control, while United could also have a chance to see new addition Matheus Cunha make his first appearance for the Reds.
Manchester United will play Leeds United at Strawberry Arena, Stockholm, at 14:00 (WAT).
Leeds United gained promotion back to the Premier League after emerging Champions of the Championship 2024/25, amassing 100 points, same as Burnley who finished second.
This will be the third time Manchester United have played Leeds in pre-season since 2019, with each meeting taking place in a different city.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Peacocks were thrashed 4-0 in Perth six years ago, as the Reds ended the tour of Asia and Australia in beautiful style.
