President Donald Trump said, the ‘Big, Beautiful Bill’ will grow the economy of the United States (US) like never before.
He said, “the great, big, beautiful bill will grow the economy like it has never grown before.”
This is the same Bill that American businessman and investor, Elon Musk, strongly criticized last week.
The Tesla CEO said, the Bill should be “killed”, adding, it has the muscle to “bankrupt” America.
Musk departed the White House due to the Bill, as he parted ways with the Trump administration; however, the X Owner said, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will continue to function effectively.
According to the White House: “Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent told Congress how the One Big Beautiful Bill — the largest tax cut in history — will boost that progress for middle-class Americans and the private sector without fueling inflation:
““The One Big Beautiful Bill will raise take-home pay between $7,800 and $13,300 for the average family of four. It will increase wages between $6,100 to $11,600 for the average worker.”
““Not only does the One Big Beautiful Bill add $500 to the Child Tax Credit, it makes it permanent.””
President Trump said: “The great, big, beautiful bill will grown the economy like it has never grown before. At the same time, it is cutting expenses by 1.6 Trillion dollars. It puts our country on the right track, plus! Make America Great Again.”
Musk has however, come out to indirectly apologize for criticizing President Trump’s Bill, saying, “I regret some of my posts about President Trump.”
In response to Musk’s criticism against his Bill, President Trump terminated the businessman’s government subsidies and contracts.
