Norwegian striker, Erling Braut Haaland, emerged the fastest player ever to 100 Premier League goal contributions as Manchester City were held by fellow top-four hopefuls Brighton 2-2 at the Etihad in the top flight clash on Saturday 15 March, 2025.
The spot for European football is being intensely fought for by as many as eight (8) clubs this season, including both City and Brighton.
Haaland an Omar Marmoush netted for Pep Guardiola’s side in the 11th (penalty) and 39th minutes respectively, while P. Estupinian and A. Husanov scored for the Seagulls in the 21st and 48th (o.g.) minutes respectively.
With this result, Manchester City are 5th with 48 points, while Brighton are 7th with 47 points.
