Spanish La Liga Club, FC Barcelona, and Dutch Eredivisie Club, Ajax Amsterdam, have struck an agreement for the loan of German goalkeeper, Marc-André Ter Stegen, until 30 June, 2027.
Under the management of Michel, Ter Stegen is now set for his second loan spell; he only recorded just two (2) appearances at Spanish side, Girona, due to injury.
The German goalie will now field for Ajax, four-time Champions of Europe, all through the 2026/27 season.
AFC Ajax have won four (4) European Cups, thirty-six (36) League titles, among many other honours.
Ter Stegen has won the Uefa Champions League with Barcelona in 2015, and the holder of twenty-one (21) trophies in blaugrana. He has recorded 423 appearances for the Catalans, and this has made him the 11th player with the most official appearances for FC Barcelona, refining Kings of Spain.
He is also the second foreigner with the highest appearance for Barcelona after Argentine forward, Lionel Messi.
Ter Stegen will now be looking to find his beautiful form he constantly displayed while featuring for Barcelona.
