Reigning Kings of Spain, FC Barcelona, have released a statement expressing “deep regrets” after the death of a worker, who died on Friday in accident during renovation works at Camp Nou, the Club’s home ground.
The statement released on Saturday reads: “FC Barcelona deeply regrets the death of the worker who lost his life yesterday in the workplace accident that occurred during the renovation works at Spotify Camp Nou.”
The Club expressed its “deepest” condolences and extends its “heartfelt” support to the worker’s family; President of Barcelona, Joan Laporta, personally made known his condolences to the family.
The Statement further reads: “The Club wishes to express its deepest condolences and extend its heartfelt support to his family, friends, and colleagues.
“FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta wishes to personally convey his condolences to the family and places himself at their disposal on behalf of the entire Club.”
