The Legislature of the State of Texas has passed the Texas Women’s Privacy Act.
Once the Act is signed into law, it will mandate all public schools, universities, and prisons “to designate restrooms and changing spaces based on biological sex at birth”.
This was made known via X, by the Press Office of Republican Governor of Texas State, Greg Abbott.
According to Governor Abbott Press Office: “This special session, the Texas Legislature passed the Texas Women’s Privacy Act.
“Once signed, this law will mandate all public schools, universities, and prisons to designate restrooms and changing spaces based on biological sex at birth.
“Women’s safety matters.”
Texas, the most populous state in the South Central region of the United States (US), also slammed a ban on “any legal system that flouts human rights”.
It said, it is of the belief that, all men, women and children should bask in equal rights under the law.
Govrnor Abbott Press Office said: “In Texas, we believe in equal rights under the law for all men, women, & children.
“Any legal system that flouts human rights is BANNED in the state of Texas.”
