Premier League side, Liverpool FC has confirmed an agreement has been reached for Trent Alexander-Arnold with Real Madrid for his transfer upon the opening of the June transfer window.
The English full-back is now ready to join the La Liga giants ahead of the expiration of his Liverpool contract this summer.
The new Kings of England will receive a fee for his services, with the deal to be concluded once the window opens on June 1.
Liverpool clinched the Premier League 2024/25 title, finishing the season with 84 points, 10 points above second-placed Arsenal; this triumph is Liverpool’s 20th, same as Manchester United, who were humiliated in faraway Malaysia by ASEAN All-Stars.
In the post-season tour match, ASEAN All-Stars discomfited Manchester United by a lone goal, with Ruben Amorim fielding first team stars such as, Bruno Fernandes, Amad Diallo, experienced defender, Jonny Evans, among others.
Alexander-Arnold joined the Liverpool’s Academy at the age of six (6) and scaled through the ranks to make his senior competitive debut in October 2016.
He now exits Anfield after 354 appearances and 23 goals for the club, alongside clinching eight (8) major honours alongside his teammates, which consist of two Premier League titles, the Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup and two League Cups.
Liverpool expresss appreciation and gratitude to the defender for his contribution to those successes.
