Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has confirmed forward Marcus Rashford will not be available, while Bruno Fernandes will field, when United play against Liverpool on Sunday.

Manchester United will take a trip to Anfield to face Liverpool in the Premier League match on Sunday 5 January, 2025 at 17:30 (WAT).
Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte missed in Monday night’s 2-0 loss to Newcastle United, after being slammed with one-match suspensions.
At his press conference ahead of the match, Amorim said: “It’s the same situation but, at the moment, he’s ill. I think he’s going to be out this week. He’s not training so we will see.”
Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Victor Lindelof have been missing in action due to injury.
