Arsenal are through to the semi finals of the EFL Cup after coming from behind to win 3-2 against Crystal Palace on Wednesday 18 December, 2024 at Emirates Stadium, thanks to a hat-trick from Gabriel Jesus.

Jean-Philippe Mateta’s early goal in the 4th minute handed the visitors the lead, and Jesus raced to three goals in the 54th, 73rd and 81st minutes, successfully converting assists from substitutes Martin Ødegaard and Bukayo Saka.
Eddie Nketiah netted the second for Crystal Palace in the 84th minute.
In his post-victory comments, Jesus said: “I’m happy to come back to score goals, because I have the number nine and the pressure will always be there to score goals.”
