The UN agency with the mission to “help humanitarian organizations save the lives of people caught in crises”, disclosed, the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (UNCERF) “has allocated $10M and the South Sudan Humanitarian Fund $5M to provide critical aid to affected people”.
According to UNOCHA: “Homes and livelihoods have been submerged by floodwaters in #SouthSudan, affecting over 735k people.
Humanitarians are responding to urgent needs.
