According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA): “People in #Rafah are facing the tough decision to leave their places of refuge, many after repeated displacement.
@UNReliefChief warns that a military operation in Rafah “could lead to a slaughter in #Gaza” and “leave an already fragile humanitarian operation at death’s door.”
The fighting between Israel and Palestinian militants, known as Hamas, has continued to heighten, showing no sign of halting soon, as Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has vowed to crush Hamas fighters he says are hiding in the city of Rafah.
