First batch of Nigerian citizens were evacuated out of war-torn Sudan to Aswan, Egypt, and were airlifted by Air Peace and NAF C 130.

As disclosed by the airline, “Air Peace Evacuates 277 Nigerians from Egypt amidst the ongoing crisis in Sudan”.

Following unexpected delays, first batch of Nigerians citizens finally arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on Wednesday 3 May, 2023 at about 2340hrs, as disclosed by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).

Air Peace said: “Air Peace Evacuates 277 Nigerians from Egypt amidst the ongoing crisis in Sudan.


“We deployed one of our wide-body Boeing 777 aircraft to operate the flight which arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at 23:22hrs on Wednesday, May 4, 2023.


“Let’s welcome our fellow countrymen!”
