No reason was given for Action Alliance’s withdrawal of its petition against Tinubu at the commencement of the 2023 Presidential Election Petition Tribunal pre-hearing on Monday 8 May, 2023 in Abuja.
Oba Maduabuchi (SAN), head of the legal team of the Party, said, he filed the petition on behalf of the first and second petitioners.
Afterwards, Maduabuchi officially applied for the withdrawal of the petition of the Party.
The petition was struck out by Justice Haruna Tsammani after the Respondents, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC); the President-elect and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), said there had no objection.
