A fire broke out on a bridge in Connecticut, United States (US), following an accident encompassing a fuel tanker.

This mishap led to the death of one person and two others injured.
The fire happened in Groton, on the Gold Star Bridge.
The fire was sparked when a tyre blew out and had contact with the tanker which was loaded with heating oil, as reported by local media.
