Report has it that the death toll currently has risen beyond 24,000 after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Southern Turkey and Northern Syria on Monday.
Syrian State media reveal, the Capital, Damascus, has now approved for international aid to be sent to earthquake victims in areas held by rebels across government lines.
A United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Spokesman disclosed to the BBC, they are working towards delivering more aid to rebel-held areas “as quickly as possible”.
It is feared up to 5.3 million people may have been rendered homeless due to the massive earthquake in Syria alone.
