President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn-in former Inspector General of Police (IGP), Solomon Arase (rtd.), as new Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC).

The new PSC Chairman, Arase, took the oath of office on Wednesday 29 March, 2023, at the Council Chamber prior to the commencement of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting.

This is coming after the Senate confirmed him as the Chairperson of the PSC two months ago.

Arase assured to prioritize the welfare of Officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) during his interview with State House correspondents.
